Nytia Nikole comes from the culturally rich city of Boston, MA. She's an award winning actress & director, an accomplished filmmaker, writer, and producer. She is best known for her roles on Fatal Attraction (TV One), Murder Chose Me (ID Channel), and Dexter Jackson's Guide to Dating (Amazon Prime). Her recent TV credits include Personal Injury Court (CW69), Taboo 3 & Fixation 2. Nytia has also experienced the generous applause of a live theatre. She continues to train and work on perfecting her craft.
FLM - What is the best lesson you have learned while being on set?
NN- To be patient. Greatness takes time. Stay grounded and to BE my character. Don't "act"... Be!
FLM - Tell us about your aspirations in your film career.
NN - I want everything that God wants for me. This is who I am. I plan to be acting for the rest of my life. I always aspire to tell the stories of other human beings and to help bring healing through film/tv. Acting is my ministry.
FLM- What are you bringing to the world that it doesn't have right now?
NN- I believe that I am a positive light. I bring a dynamic spirit. I want the best for everyone I meet and I love helping people see their full potential, be the best that they can, and to stay encouraged. I believe that you can do anything you set your mind to doing!
FLM- Who or what inspires you artistically?
NN- Angela Bassett, Viola Davis, Chadwick Boseman, Denzel Washington
FLM- Where has your career taken you so far?
NN- My career has allowed me to travel (which is something I love to do), and get paid to pursue my passion. I've not only traveled to film, but to accept awards for my acting. I always said that I love being on set so much that I would do it for free. So, to earn money to do what I absolutely love to do, is a true blessing. Acting for me, is therapeutic and refreshing.
FLM- How would you describe your creative style?
NN- My style is sexy/classy. I stay on trend but also love timeless fashion and beauty.
FLM- What are some other hobbies or interest of yours?
NN- I love to travel, spend time with my kids, writing, networking, and helping people achieve their dream of home ownership.
FLM- Who have you collaborated with so far?
NN- I've collaborated with too many other creatives to name. I've taken part in so many film festivals and projects.
FLM- Who do you want to work with in the future?
NN- If I had to name one person that I'd love to work with in the future, it would be Viola Davis.
FLM-Any projects that we should be on the lookout for?
NN- The films 'Generational Gap', 'Cousins', as well as 'Delivered' will be released this fall. I will also begin production on two films this summer/fall. One is named 'Wicked Revenge' and the other is 'Currency'. I'm so excited for all of these amazing projects!
